That was some of the most awkward movement I've seen in a game. The character felt like they had no weight. I would have enjoyed this game much more if you had polished the running, jumping, and walljumping before you made the large number of levels. IMO, a solid core game should come before all the features and level design.
You have to take your time to get used to the controls, rushing in and button-mashing will most likely lead to alot of deaths.
The controls themselves have been improved upon over 6 months, they are incredibly over-responsive, with the intention of giving you more control over your height + distance of jump, rather than jumping at the same height no matter how long you hold the jump key for.
